Although I am no longer able to meet with you in person for the time being due to covid-19, my team and I are still working to assist you. We are currently holding virtual advice surgery appointments, or I am happy to speak with you over the phone. However, my team and I can deal with many issues without you needing to book a surgery appointment, particularly if it is an urgent matter.
Please understand that we will have to deal with the most urgent situations first and then any relating to COVID-19. Other emails and calls may take longer to receive a response.
How I can help:
My role as a Member of Parliament (MP) involves examining the work of the Government and holding them to account by challenging their proposals. This can include raising issues affecting constituents, scrutinising legislation, attending debates and voting on new laws. I also serve on the Transport Select Committee which works to improve the way Transport system is run.
Another important part of my role is to act as an advocate and spokesperson for my constituency Brentford and Isleworth (including Hounslow, Chiswick, Osterley & Spring Grove). I am very active locally visiting schools, community organisations, attending functions and meeting with local businesses & charities. Visiting these groups talking to local residents all helps to give me further insight and context into issues that I may debate on in Parliament.
As an MP, I can help constituents with matters relating to functions of central government departments, such as education, healthcare, policing, immigration and passports, citizenship, social security and pensions, taxation and tax credits and student finance.
If you are a constituent contacting me about an issue that you would like my help or support with, please ensure that you have included your: full name, address, postcode, and a contact number. Relevant reference number(s) e.g DWP/Home Office are also helpful, and if we are already helping you on an issue please use the same ZA…. number.
If you are getting in touch about an issue related to the services provided by the London Borough of Hounslow, including matters such as street cleaning, council housing, planning, trees, noise complaints, and parking, you may find that your elected local ward councillor will be best placed to assist you in the first instance.

I hold regular advice surgeries in the constituency, due to covid-19 these are now being held virtually, where you can meet with me. If you wish to book an appointment, please make sure you contact my office as early as possible. Appointments are approx. 15 minutes. Due to Parliamentary protocol I am only am to help those living in my constituency please check I am your local MP here.
However, my team and I can deal with many issues without you needing to come to my advice surgery, particularly if it is an urgent matter.
When getting in touch it is important we have full names and contact details, including your address. For personal issues, please make sure you provide us with as much information as possible, so we can effectively address your problem; e.g. relevant reference numbers/NI number/date of birth etc.
